A valuable lesson learnedtoday: through the storms,
You are always in control.
Prayed to keep them away,
You had other plans. They
formed nearly on top of us!
A great demonstration of
Your power, Your Grace:
You answered my prayers.
Hail! High winds! Flooding
rain! Severe lightning! The
thing I fear most: a funnel!
The sirens screamed! I sang
right along with them, part
in praise (and part in fear).
You got us through. You
kept us safe. No damage
(except shattered nerves).
That does not mean I like
storms any better. Wouldn't
mind underground shelter ...
You reminded me to take
refuge in the safety of Your
arms. Thank You, Lord Jesus.
